Holy cats!

I just can't believe that its been that long since I posted. I am really slacking, but there has been nothing to say. I keep reading Lori's blog, and wishing that I had something to share. But, I don't. I am STILL getting jerked around about the house. We are STILL waiting on that same lady to come up with the money she's promised
us. I have quit looking at designs and everything. I have become resolved that I will be stuck in this house for the next 5 years, until it, and all of our other bills are paid off, and then, and only then, might I be able to escape!

Let's see, what else have I been up to since January?? Ummm...My brother has started his own business. He has a medical massage practice "Lakeshore Medical Massage". He's almost done with his certification. He's doing his internship at our chiropractor's office right now, and then he will be done, and can start massaging the world. I have been told that he is quite good. I wouldn't know, he won't massage me...I won't pay him for it.

My weight loss is slow..I lost 7 pounds in 3 weeks (which seems like an eternity to me) and the Dr. was happy. I thought it should have been more, but hey whatever...Its better that gaining 7 pounds..right? Total, I am down about 58 pounds right now. Hopefully that will improve soon, as the temperature is going up, and I am feeling more active. Its crazy, i never used to have any energy, but lately, I find myself with a ton!

Last weekend, we went to Clinton Township for a wedding. Warren's cousin Carly married the most handsome firefighter I have ever met. The wedding was beautiful at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Sterling Heights, and the reception was at Sycamore hills Golf course. The reception was like the best party I have ever been to. The food was awesome, the music was great, and the company was phenomenal! If all wedding were like that, everyone would get married! While we were there, we stayed at the Best Western Concorde Inn on Gratiot. It was a very nice hotel, and the front desk staff (especially Shane-?) was awesome. I would totally stay there again, there was an indoor pool, sauna, health club, and outdoor TIKI bar. How could you go wrong with all that? We went to the Bath City Bistro in Mt. Clemens for dinner one night, the pizza is awesome. Mt. Clemens is a beautiful city, the business district anyway. I would like to visit there again.
Other than that, I have been working me tail off. It seems like all I do anymore is work. Oh, and we do play Bingo on Thursday nights at the Lions' pavilion in Onekama. Me and a couple of friends --from work. We don't always win, but we have a good time, and it only costs us about $20.00 for a whole evening's entertainment. Not a bad deal. so...that's about it. Consider yourself updated!
