Van Halen ROCKED!

Ok, so I was not that excited to see Van Halen, I was going purely out of wifely obligation. I really did have a great time. We had crappy seats, but it was still a good time. We stayed at the homestead suites on University in Auburn Hills, they were great, I highly recommend that hotel to anyone wanting to stay in that area. We got a good room with a full size frig, a cooktop, and a kitchen/bar area...it was nice.

Costume ideas?

I am trying to figure out what I should be for Halloween. Some friends of mine are having a party, and I don't know what costume to choose. Anyone have any ideas?

all moved in

Well, Warren and I are all moved into our new/old house. We moved back into the original paprtment we lived in when we were first dating. The landlord has put in about $10,000 in renovations, so its like a whole new house. We are back in town, which kinda sucks, but at least I know where everything is. His brother has been staying with us to help us move everything, its been really helpful. I also finally got digital internet and cable, so I am no longer stuck in dial up hell...now I am in a new kind of hell, where the wireless connection drops out whenever the mood strikes it. DAMNIT!

Animal Cruelty

Just when I thought things couldn't change, I find this article, and am not at all shocked to find out the "couple" is Warren's uncle Billy's mom and step-dad. These are the people that were supposed to buy that house from us. Instead of paying us, they gave the money to Billy, ane he kicked us out and kept the money. I guess he's going to have to pay the house payment on that place after all. The mailing address for these animal 'lovers' is the same as my old address if anyone would like to send them a 'love' note. I am hoping they are charged with all 172 counts, and are forced to serve the year per count, and pay the $500 per count as well. Hopefully they will FRY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Final Post???

This could be my final post for a while. I might even be moving to New Buffalo. I am trying to get into the Four Winds Casino there. If I do, I will be moving there instead of in with my parents. I am not counting my chickens, but I qualify for like 3 or 4 very nice positions there, and Warren would be supporting me in whatever I do. If I do get a job there, he is going to stay up here, and finish out the basketball season (which will take him into the spring) before joining me down there. I know that apartments are hard to come by in that area right now, so if anyone knows anyone that might have a place to rent, let me know. I am still in the house in Wellston, I am well past the 30 days, and have heard nothing at all from the "landlord" about our moving out. Maybe he's changed his mind and has decided to just pay our rent for a few months?!?! Doubtful--I know! So, if you need to get a hold of me, call my cell..or my mom's house, if I am not there, they will know how to get a hold of me....

More Packing Fun

I am still packing...tomorrow, we are going to take the first load to the storage unit. I rented the biggest one they had and figure that way, I will be able to move stuff around and find everything I need in there...yeah right. I know how this really will go...everything will be all spread out, and I won't be able to move around, and I will get all pissed, and throw things...but at least I know ahead of time, so I can prepare... Today was supposed to be my night off, but I had to go in to work for 5 hours....I was fueled more by greed (overtime, plus holiday pay...HELL YEAH!) than by team spirit...but hey, at least I went in. There is nothing else going on in my life right now, which is a good thing, because I don't think I could handle any more drama right now.

Eric is graduating from massage school on the 16th. I guess they are having a ceremony and everything, so I took the night of work to go. I think he'd excited to be done, but its always hard to tell with him. I am excited for him...now he can start making some money for himself....yay Eric!

Still NOTHING...

I still have heard nothing from those idiots....The 15th of this month will be the "30 days" that I was given on my answering machine. I Still have not heard anything about a court order...or anything like that. This is the first month that we haven't had to pay the mortgage payment...its kinda freaky...living here, and not having anything to pay except utilities...Which I am going to have shut off soon...as soon as I get a legal notice...which might never come...I don't know what to do...I want this whole thing to be over, but I am NOT telling them what they should be doing....if I was like them, I would have sold this place for scrap by now....and moved in with my parents...instead, I am still cleaning, and packing, and waiting...and waiting...for something to happen.

In other news, I am going to have the phone shut off at the end of this month. I am shooting for the 31st or 1st of Aug. It might be sooner, if I get things done by the, but it will definitely be by the 1st. So...you can contact me on my cell if you need me...the number will be in an e-mail soon...

$30,000 education

Well, more like $40,000 once its all said and done. I could have gone to a real college and finished my education for that price. Oh well, I am beyond it now. I have just finished talking with my lawyer, and he's informed me that I was right, and I am screwed. Now, I will just wait for them to figure out that they need a LEGAL EVICTION notice for me to move out. He threatened me with a court order, but evidently thought that he wouldn't need it...There he goes, thinking again! I am going to move in with my parents for a while (prolly like 3 mos) so we can save up enough money to find another place...and this time, I will make sure everything is in writing, and notarized! I am not going to get burned again! I wonder, is it against the law for me to take the furnace with me when I move? I bought the damn thing, and even though I will have no use for it, I feel like I should take it with me, and the toilet I bought too...hmmm..Lori, any thoughts? HMMMM....

Lesson Learned

Well, well, well...I guess Warren and I have learned a very valuable lesson about mixing money and family. His aunt and uncle (our supposed 'best' friends) have given us the shit end of the stick again! They have finally crossed the line...I will not ever forgive them, and I have sought the council of 2 VERY good lawyers and one extremely smart real estate agent, and I think we are screwed! I am almost positive that we will lose all the money we have put into this house, simply because we trusted FAMILY not to screw us over! Jeez, we were dumb! Never again! I am going to make sure that no one in Warren's family ever forgets about this! I am going to also do everything in my power to make sure they are miserable for as long as I can. I am spiteful and vengeful, and the Tittle's are about to find out just how it feels to be on my bad side...Hell hath no fury like a Shannon scored!

Father's Day fun

So, Father's Day is coming up on Sunday. Warren is going golfing with my dad, grandfather, and brother. This leaves us ladies with nothing to do, so my mom, grandmother and I are going to Turtle Creek casino. I took the night off, in anticipation of not getting back until late. If we do get back in time, Warren and I are supposed to go out for dinner with some friends. Hopefully we can do that too! I thought I might try to put in a post or two once in a while just to keep Lori satisfied.

We had breakfast at the Bungalow the other day. It was strange to see that place in the daylight. I am still used to thinking of it as the dark hang out that it used to be. It is so much nicer now. Breakfast? Amazing! I did have to bring in my own jelly, but that is something I am growing accustomed to, as not many places carry sugar free jellies. Anywhoo...just a random post...with a random picture attached...

Holy cats!

I just can't believe that its been that long since I posted. I am really slacking, but there has been nothing to say. I keep reading Lori's blog, and wishing that I had something to share. But, I don't. I am STILL getting jerked around about the house. We are STILL waiting on that same lady to come up with the money she's promised
us. I have quit looking at designs and everything. I have become resolved that I will be stuck in this house for the next 5 years, until it, and all of our other bills are paid off, and then, and only then, might I be able to escape!

Let's see, what else have I been up to since January?? Ummm...My brother has started his own business. He has a medical massage practice "Lakeshore Medical Massage". He's almost done with his certification. He's doing his internship at our chiropractor's office right now, and then he will be done, and can start massaging the world. I have been told that he is quite good. I wouldn't know, he won't massage me...I won't pay him for it.

My weight loss is slow..I lost 7 pounds in 3 weeks (which seems like an eternity to me) and the Dr. was happy. I thought it should have been more, but hey whatever...Its better that gaining 7 pounds..right? Total, I am down about 58 pounds right now. Hopefully that will improve soon, as the temperature is going up, and I am feeling more active. Its crazy, i never used to have any energy, but lately, I find myself with a ton!

Last weekend, we went to Clinton Township for a wedding. Warren's cousin Carly married the most handsome firefighter I have ever met. The wedding was beautiful at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Sterling Heights, and the reception was at Sycamore hills Golf course. The reception was like the best party I have ever been to. The food was awesome, the music was great, and the company was phenomenal! If all wedding were like that, everyone would get married! While we were there, we stayed at the Best Western Concorde Inn on Gratiot. It was a very nice hotel, and the front desk staff (especially Shane-?) was awesome. I would totally stay there again, there was an indoor pool, sauna, health club, and outdoor TIKI bar. How could you go wrong with all that? We went to the Bath City Bistro in Mt. Clemens for dinner one night, the pizza is awesome. Mt. Clemens is a beautiful city, the business district anyway. I would like to visit there again.
Other than that, I have been working me tail off. It seems like all I do anymore is work. Oh, and we do play Bingo on Thursday nights at the Lions' pavilion in Onekama. Me and a couple of friends --from work. We don't always win, but we have a good time, and it only costs us about $20.00 for a whole evening's entertainment. Not a bad deal. so...that's about it. Consider yourself updated!

Moving soon!

I have e-mailed everyone my new mailing address (until the house is done) I still don't know exactly when we will be moving, but I am hoping for someday SOON! While the weather is still not horrible and wintry!

I finally broke down and bought a scale. I have lost over 30 pounds in a month (Dec 28th)! I have to go back to the Dr. in Holland on Eric's b-day (Jan 18th) for my first adjustment (they inject saline into the band around my stomach to make the amount of food I can eat less) and then I will have to go back every 2 weeks until the Dr. is satisfied with the rate of weight loss. I don't know how many trips that might take, but I don't care either.

There has been nothing else really going on, I have been busy packing, and sorting through all of our junk..I am trying to make sure that I don't move anything that I will want to throw away as soon as we unpack. Warren and I are going to be staying ay my parent's house until the new house is done, so you can reach me by phone there. It's not listed, so if you need the number, you can still reach me at the Wellston number for the time being.

Hope everyone had a safe holiday! Love to your families!
